Controls and Operation

Familiarize yourself with all controls before starting the engine.

Control Panel: Ignition key, PTO engagement switch, throttle control, choke, hour meter.

Steering Levers: Left lever controls left rear wheel; right lever controls right rear wheel. Move both forward to go straight, differentially to turn.

Starting Procedure: 1. Sit in seat. 2. Set parking brake. 3. Move steering levers to neutral (outward). 4. Engage choke if cold. 5. Turn key to START. 6. Release key to RUN position.

  3. Mowing patterns: Overlap passes by 2-3 inches for even cut. Alternate direction weekly.
  4. Disengage PTO: When crossing drives, sidewalks, or finishing mowing.
  5. Clean deck: After each use, remove grass clippings from underside to prevent rust and buildup.

Tip: Sharpen blades every 25 hours of operation for a clean cut. Check blade balance after sharpening.

Maintenance Schedule

Regular maintenance ensures peak performance and extends machine life.
