Assembly & Setup

Cutting Deck Adjustment

  4. Re-measure until all corners are within 1/4 inch.
  5. Check anti-scalp rollers: Adjust to clear ground by 1/4" to 1/2".

WARNING! Disconnect spark plug before adjusting or servicing deck.

Storage & Winterization

Prepare mower for extended storage.

  1. Clean thoroughly: Remove grass, dirt from deck, engine, and chassis.
  2. Fuel treatment: Add fuel stabilizer to tank, run engine 5 minutes.
  3. Oil change: Replace engine oil and filter if due.
  4. Battery: Disconnect and store in cool, dry place; charge monthly.
