Assembly Instructions

Unpack all parts and inspect for damage. Assembly requires basic tools (included).

  1. Attach handle: Align lower handle with deck brackets, secure with bolts and wing nuts.
  2. Install upper handle: Connect to lower handle, tighten knobs.
  3. Attach grass bag: Hook bag frame onto rear deck brackets.
  4. Install battery: For electric start, connect red (+) then black (-) terminals.
  5. Add oil and fuel: Use SAE 30 detergent oil (20 oz) and unleaded gasoline (87 octane minimum).

Controls and Operation

Main controls located on handle: Drive control lever, speed selector, height adjustment, electric start key, and blade engagement lever.

Starting Procedure: 1. Check oil and fuel levels. 2. Insert key and turn to ON. 3. Set choke if engine is cold. 4. Press primer bulb 3 times. 5. Pull drive control lever to handle. 6. Turn key to START. 7. Adjust throttle to FAST for mowing.

Stopping: Release blade control lever, turn key to OFF, disconnect spark plug for safety.
