Cutting Deck Adjustment

Adjust cutting height using deck lift lever located near seat.

  1. Park on level surface, stop engine, engage parking brake.
  2. Move lift lever to desired height setting (marked 1-12).
  3. Check level: Measure blade tip height from ground on all sides; adjust deck leveling rods if uneven.
  4. For best cut, mow when grass is dry and avoid cutting more than 1/3 of grass height at once.

Tip: Always disconnect spark plug before adjusting or servicing deck.

Storage & Winterization

Proper storage prevents fuel system issues and corrosion.

  1. Clean entire mower, especially underside of deck.
  2. Add fuel stabilizer to tank, run engine for 5 minutes to circulate.
  3. Change engine oil and filter.
  4. Remove battery, clean terminals, store in cool dry place on trickle charger.
  5. Store in dry, covered area; elevate deck off ground if possible.

CAUTION! Never store with fuel in tank without stabilizer. Gasoline degrades over time and can damage engine.

Safety Guidelines

Always follow safety instructions to prevent injury.
